Anyone know anything about knives?

Dont know much about knives, but looking for a strong light survival knife, for camping / backpacking. Also looking for a strong light multitool with good options, nothing so extravagant you can only use when you go camping with your rv. What are some companies and models you guys would recommend?

Time tested and no better multi tool. You may find a better knife but this is where its at for what you need. You can add a 6 or nine inch knife but for camping and quick access leatherman or Gerber are the best. Just compare price and options.

I like the tracker that looks like a very nice knife, a little too big for what im looking for though. The leatherman multitools look excellent but i don't need a gutter for hunting so their knifes are out. Also dont want to spend much more than $100 if that much at all. Anyone used a Gerber LMF and have any opinions on it?

Gerber has many varieties of multi-tools. You could probably find one that suits your needs the best.
